Welcome to Islamorada, tie the boat up and I'll show you around!
My house has abundant parking on two sides of the property, a rare commodity.
On the water side, the step down seawall puts you down near the high tide line, making it safer and easier getting in and out of the boat. The canal has a seasonal population of tarpon and white bait and it's not unusual to see snook, snapper and occasionally manatees.
Check out Fish Pictures to see the eight pound snook I caught off the wall in September!
The light, bright and very comfortable living room features new furniture, a 32" LCD-HD TV and soothing ocean views.
The dining room; another leaf will extend the teak table to over 8 feet, big enough for everyone, me hopes!
With almost 20 running feet of countertop (over 50 square feet!) and 8 feet between the sink and refrigerator, the kitchen is easily big enough for two cooks and is very well equipped.

For a more complete inventory check out: what to expect.
In the master bedroom; a king size bed, a huge closet and glass doors opening onto the balcony (all mattresses were new 9/07!).
More information on the closets than any sensible person can stand: Closet .
New mini-splits upstairs; better than central air quiet and cool with true zone control.
The second bedroom upstairs has just suffered a remodel, me hopes it's tasteful without getting to far from the Keys tradtition.
I live out of a suitcase myself, even when I'm home it's never far off. I was aiming for a room that made it easy to live out of your suitcase without having to look at it (a recurring theme throughout my house). To this end closet space is usually lost for a visitor, instead there are shelfs just for your suitcase and lots of places to hang stuff, in the armoire and on hooks, all tastefully off to the side so you feel at home.
The hallway separating the two bedrooms upstairs, a large bathroom keeps them apart.

Can you see yourself on that teak lounge chair, a margarita close at hand as you reflect on the day's adventures?

The balcony upstairs has two sides, all teak furniture and wonderful views, so relax and enjoy.
Downstairs a pair of sliding glass doors open onto a private patio.

The kitchen and bar in the downstairs apartment can handle light cooking and heavy entertaining.

A pair of twin beds in the "green" room downstairs, push them together to make a King size bed, if it pleases you.

The living room downstairs features a new sofa-bed and chair and TV with DVD/VCR/Satellite. It's a wonderful place to relax independently of your companions.

It's a big little space downstairs, full of windows, a most delightful place to be! Did I mention my house has a digital weather station? The console is on the wall to the left, the wind, temperature, pressure and rain gauges are on the roof.
The rod racks downstairs were custom made to store nine foot fly rods, but will accommodate almost all rods.
That Maverick Mirage is only 17 feet long, so it kind of "rattles around" inside the 30 foot cut in boat slip. You are bringing a boat aren't you? If not, many boat rental companies will deliver right to my dock.

I told you about the private garage with bait freezer and washer/dryer didn't I? It's large, clean and secure, the perfect place for all your gear. There's an automatic door opener and all locks have a keyless option for convenience and security.

The seawall is completely fronted with wood or PVC pilings and cleats to provide safe, secure boat parking. Few things are worse than a pretty boat rubbing against concrete, not at my house.
The new fish cleaning table is four feet wide and tall with it's own water supply, a roof to block the sun and rain and excellent lighting. Adjacent to the table you will find a spacious sitting area.

Looking towards the ocean.

A pair of freeloaders, waiting patiently on my seawall.

The ocean from the canal and vice-versa.

My house features a Weber Genesis grill. I think you'll be delighted with way this grill performs, it was new 9/16/06!

All entry doors have keyless deadbolts, great convenience without sacrificing security.

A trio of compressors are on my roof. The mini-split air conditioner separates the compressor from the air handler, delivering central air performance for all concrete homes and make true zone heating and cooling possible.

A pair of Iguana's call our canal home, occasionally basking on the seawall.

Foot long flowers appear sporadically all year long from a huge orchid type bush in my yard, drooping to the ground under their own weight. I catch them fully open only at night, but they remain beautiful day and night.

The end of my street ...I've seen bonefish on that flat!

The ocean is right there, the first pass to the bay is just half a mile north.
